Dining Table

There are occasions when you want to dine inside, or play Scrabble, and therefore you need a table.  Again turning to the Westfalia model, we wanted a table that we could easily put up when needed, and just as easily be stored out of the way when you don't.

We used the birch plywood with poplar trim for our table.  I installed two drink holders, identical to those in our Eurovan, which I purchased from GoWesty for $7.95 each.

For table mounting hardware we turned to Shop4seats.com where we purchased a fold up table leg and wall mount table support hardware.  This hardware is very easy to install and it creates a very sturdy table surface.  The price and quality of these products are hard to beat.  Total cost=$26.80

When we're not using the table we store it in the Penthouse top in a canvas sleeve that made.

In order to prevent the stored table from moving around, it is secured to the rear Penthouse latch using a split O-ring and a 1" webbing.
