Flooring

We removed the vinyl flooring that is included with Ford's interior upgrade package and replaced it with a VanRug Cargo Mat that we purchased directly from the manufacturer for $200.  It fits perfectly and fills all the ribs in the floor creating a smoother carpeted floor.

Removing the original vinyl flooring is very easy.  You have to remove the thresholds in front of the rear and side doors, then your done.

The new VanRug is delivered in a 14"x14" by 72" box, so it's rolled up and requires a few hours to flatten out.  This photo illustrates how well the bottom of the rug is contoured to match the ribs of the Transit.

 The plastic thresholds at the rear and side doors need to be reinstalled after the VanRug is in place.

For the front of the van we purchased a one piece WeatherTech floor liner.  It fits like a glove, it's easy to clean and it keeps the dirt from your feet in one place.  $157 including shipping.
